1. POLICY STATEMENT:
Perfect Food Warmers subsequently referred to as PFW in this document is the sole owner of all hired items.
Placing an order with us verbally, by phone, internet or any other method of communication constitutes you having read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
Please read this agreement carefully. Upon entering into this agreement, you the hirer, agree to be bound by the terms within. These T&C and any contract formed between us shall be governed by the laws of England.
Within these terms and conditions, any reference to “order/s” or “item/s” shall include chafing dish sets, mechanical/electric food warmers, fuel gel burners and tableware.
2. ORDER
a) We reserve the right to withdraw our acceptance of your order if the items requested are not readily available to us and will refund in full any payment you have made.
b) PFW reserve the sole right at its discretion and agreeable by the customer to provide free delivery and/or discounts on any orders placed by customers.
3. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER
The customer shall during the term of the Contract:
a) at all times during the hiring period until collected by PFW, keep and maintain all Items in good condition and appearance as much as possible as it was on the commencement date of the Contract. Customer shall bear the full cost of any lost or severe damaged Items i.e. severe dents, burns or scratches;
b) use all Items only for the purposes for which it was designed and operate in a careful, prudent manner and in accordance with the instructions for use. Caution must be taken especially with the use of fuel burners;
c) comply with all laws, regulations, rules or ordinances of lawfully constituted authorities relating to the possession, use, storage and transport of the Items;
d) ensure that the Items are operated only by suitably competent persons, duly instructed on its safe operation in accordance with manufacturer’s operating manuals, instructions and safety warnings. PFW will not be liable for any injuries or damages incurred in the hiring and usage of its Items;
e) ensure that no unauthorised transfers or diversions of the Items occurs;
4. PAYMENTS
a) PFW reserve the sole right at its discretion and agreeable by the customer to charge 50% non-refundable deposit of total hiring cost at the time of booking to secure the order. The balance of the complete cost of the hire (inclusive of the delivery and collection charge) will be due for payment at the point of delivery.
b) If you wish to arrange an extended hire or hold your hired items for longer than the contracted period, please contact PFW in advance to check availability of the products and the costs for the extended hire.
c) No refunds will be issued for any items that are returned unused.
5. DELIEVRY & COLLECTION
a) Any person other than the hirer who signs a delivery/collection note at the agreed address is deemed to be authorised to do so. Any discrepancies to the order must be notified within 2 hours after delivery.
b) Please be aware that the hired items remain your sole responsibility until they have been collected by PFW.
c) No refunds will be issued for any items that are returned unused.
d) Hired items shall be collected or returned in their original packaging as delivered or picked up respectively.
